About this deal

Among the charities to respond to the disaster is First Aid, a British charity known for its unfailing generosity and being there as soon as possible. this incident leads to a yet another roller coaster adventure for Alex where he has to thwart Desmond's sinister plans which ultimately lead him to Kenya and through his ingenuity and smart sense, this 14 year old once again survives and saves the day and lives to see his 15th birthday! Samantha Redwing, the Chief Science Officer, analyses the sample but cannot make out anything dangerous about it. However, when they land for refuelling at Laikipia, McCain (who used his larger plane to escape the flooding of his base) appears and shoots Rahim dead.

They make a deal with him, if he hacks into the computer of a man that works for Greenfields, then it will be as if Harry Bulman never existed.

He also tells Alex that he has murdered Straik and Bulman, as well as revealing his engagement to Bennett and that Bennett was the one who shot out the tires on the car in Scotland. He nearly gets roasted alive, but somehow or another, he is immune to such things as toxic smoke inhalation and limps off homewards, all fine and dandy. Forced to ask MI6 for protection, Alex finds himself being manipulated in a deadly game that could lead to the destruction of an entire East African country, but Alex manages to kill Desmond McCain in the end.

A con artist has realized there is big money in charity: the bigger the disaster, the greater the money flow! It introduces a detective by the name of Daniel Hawthorne - a rather dark and dangerous man whom I actually met on the set of Injustice. Indian spy rather conveniently wakes up in time to steal a plane and rescue Alex before he falls into the newly made waterfall and dies. I loved the rooftop race with the ductwork and the time when Alex hung suspended over the hungry crocodiles. Investigating, he comes across a mock-up of a dead African village (which is later revealed to be where McCain and co.This book, more than any of the others, really takes a spin off the James Bond 007 franchise when it opens up on Alex playing Texas Hold `em with the big baddie of the book. It seemed like there was no character development or anything, really - but I guess it was an okay quick read, and there were some awesome stunt!

He has a distinct voice that makes me feel like I could pick out his writing anywhere, even if I didn't know who the author really was. In Anthony Horowitz's latest action-packed Alex Rider adventure Crocidile Tears, Alex finds himself looking at a possible wrecking ball to his struggle for a normal life that goes by the name of Harry Bulman. But the only reason I didn't give this five stars is because it doesn't make sense why the villain didn't kill him before it was too late (he had a thousand chances). In the eighth book in the number one bestselling Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz, Alex meets international do-gooder Desmond McCain. To destroy the population of Africa would make Mccain a very rich man because he would be able to scam people out of their donations. One problem I found was that unlike Snakehead and Scorpia there wasn't any of Alex's background even though it was gr8 :-) P. There needs to be a fresher plot, a more interesting villain, or some character development for Alex.

After reading this book, it made me think how difficult life is in other parts of the world and how some people are exploiting it for personal gains and it is just not right. The job is meant to be free of major risks, but this proves far from the truth when Alex discovers that the manager of the charity is also there, and seemingly involved in a conspiracy.

An engineering technician, Ravi Chandra, plants a bomb in the nuclear reactor of the Jowada Nuclear Power Station in India, after being persuaded to do so by a European man who promises him a lot of rewards. Well I was definitely not disappointed, the book contains all the usual excitement from tense moments to full throttle action.
