Plus, as air is taken in and pushed back out via outlets on the side, it can sit flush against the wall to save on space. The reason I ask is that chances are your fan isn't working very well, and sorting that out is likely to have the biggest effect before starting to think about dehumidifiers. This model - designed by German manufacturer Blaupunkt - was the second most effective at extracting water, collecting equivalent to 105ml over 24 hours.

It does collect water in the air but i feel due to it being so small it wasnt effective for the room i used it in.
