I have known this fragrance for 10 years, but I have also known lalique noire sport for a long time. it open with citrus scent,and disperse very good,after a few minute you smell woody scent,this notes like Lilique Encre Noire. This is fresh but different, not overly sweet, must be the pepper and lemons -- 2 tastes my spouse loves. I honestly won't be wearing this in public, I love the scent, but I totally get that this is highly polarizing.

It’s not so much the pepper, as many have commented, nor even the lemon, neither of which I find overwhelming. It smells really good tho and I would love to get one BUT I don't wanna smell like someone else, especially someone in the same household.

Im glad plenty of people like this, because i like the fact Burberry dont try to be like everyone else. But it smells almost identical to Lalique White, and that has the unique tamarind note with better longevity. Too much violet could have made this like a lot of other fragrances (and ruined the sparkle that makes it unique and so enjoyable), but just the right amount was added along with geranium to compliment the vetiver's cleanliness, thus allowing the top notes to shine and sparkle on top. The heart weaves in geranium, a rosy and lemony floral note with thyme, an herb with an earthy and somewhat leathery scent. Nobody talks about it for positive reasons like say Burberry Touch and London or negative like Burberry Brit and most of its flankers and Mr.

But the second and the base note a bit spicy for me, kind of wake me up but mint flavor make me feel like having a mint chewing gum. The top reminds me of some juices like 4711 cologne, Encre noire, Declaration and Terre d'hermés, vintage citrus-vetiver stuff, it's like a vegetable soup. Update a few months after discovering this beauty: The Beat for men is the most beautiful woodsy fragrance I have ever tried after Encre Noire by Lalique. it's dominant pepper notes may trouble some people (which I understand, since it's very strong) but I happen to love it. It stays between the sober and the relaxed, the green and the aromatic, the classic, and the modern.Burberry fragrances -You won’t get great quality or performance from most of them, but there’s no doubt they know how to make a pleasant scent.

Peppery citrus that lasts - not sweet to me, but more spicy and aromatic with a shimmer of clean, metallic geranium that reasonates from the heart. my older brother uses this and i love it on him, but i tested it myself and didn´t went that well on me. A green/pepper combination with the intended market of a younger audience, hence the strange marketing promotions.I wore Beat for women for a good long while, loving the citrus and pepper and blind bought the men's Beat for my spouse. The Citron blends well with the florals and the peppery earthy accords last throughout the life of the fragrance.
