About this deal

Bert is under increasing pressure from his employer/landlady to take their relationship from strictly professional to something much more intimate.

Series 7 of Doc Martin was released on DVD/Blu-ray in Region 1 on 8 December 2015 and in the UK (Region 2) on 16 November 2015.

It was created by Dominic Minghella [1] developing the character of Dr Martin Bamford from the Nigel Cole comedy film Saving Grace (2000).

The festive season in the small Cornish village of Portwenn is going to be anything but easy for curmudgeonly Doc Martin. Her plans are stalled when Martin believes their room service employee is showing signs of a disease, and tries to alert him.Penhale decides to have a police open house to raise community awareness, but local farmer Hannah Butler ( Yolanda Kettle) arrives to file a complaint about theft of her sheep. Inside are photos and newspaper clippings of Auntie Ruth, as well as diary entries that are alarming signs of an obsession with Ruth. Strain has a visit with Martin, and when his urine sample is blue in color, Martin realises the schoolmaster is unwell with porphyria, an enzyme deficiency that also afflicted George III. When she finally does arrive, Martin is dubious about handing James Henry over to this woman who is constantly scratching. They also wanted something darker, so Clunes suggested that the doctor be curmudgeonly, socially inept, and formal.

Apart from Clunes, the only actors to appear in both versions of Doc Martin are Tristan Sturrock and Tony Maudsley. For optimal performance, many playability issues can be corrected by updating firmware on your BD and UHD player. Ruth refuses to admit there is anything wrong, and says she'll be in London for 10 days interviewing for a medical position, which frustrates Martin.
