It's a very gentle, petal-soft scent, but unfortunately doesn't have much staying power even for an eau de toilette. I was confused about how it is supposed to be aquatic in any way, but I love florals and fruity scents so I picked it up.

It suits a young teenager but equally could be an everyday signature scent for someone in their 20’s/early 30’s. Perfumes with natural ingredients often smell different in batches based on the source of the ingredients, while synthetic ingredients usually have consistency in their smell and lasts longer. I don't have LB in my collection anymore so I can't say for sure but there is definitely a fresh/citrus/woody vibe happening. With the beautiful bottle and how much I like the scent, I am very happy with the purchase and I am still keeping the empty bottle as decoration (I wish more bottle look like this). It's bright and happy (orange/litchi/peony) but also sweet and musky (jasmine/honey/vanilla) and warm and spicy (white wood/cardamom). Upon trying it, I did come to understand where all these opinions came from but I was actually pleased to find this musty saltiness that is so characteristic of the ocean.
