About this deal

The video in the picture gallery demonstrates the application technique to avoid air pockets between processors and coolers.

ARCTIC MX-4 is the latest thermal compound with exceptional thermal conductivity and best consistency to get the maximum from your computer.Similar to the performance of existing and acclaimed ARCTIC MX-series, ARCTIC MX-4 continues to be overclocker’s ultimate choice when choosing thermal compounds. I've now started using a line down the longer length of the CPU instead and the spread comes out much better. When I took apart my system after a few years running it looked about the same as when I applied it. Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. I had mx-6 and mx-4, didnt notice any differences tbh, afterwards i switched to thermal grizzly for sake of testing it, their paste is more dense and not so much wet as mx-4 or mx-6 and in my case i could change it once in 3-4 years if i wanted to, however when changing my luube, i take blocks apart to clean em, and if you do that, then you kinda have to put new one.

Put it all bk together remember to make sure power pack clips over those 2 prongs or it'll not turn on then got open it and try re sitting power pk again. The video below demonstrates the application technique to avoid air pockets between processors and coolers.

We're making continuous improvements to the compatibility checker and would love to hear your feedback! The ARCTIC MX-4 compound is composed of carbon micro-particles which lead to an extremely high thermal conductivity. And honestly between all high performance thermal pastes I don't think you are looking at that much of a difference in performance, and its more about how long it lasts, if you get pump-out effect, etc. Like my man above said, it's not really about which paste is better as they all perform similarly more or less, but how long it lasts. Squirt half a tube on the CPU and wrench down the cooler so it leaks out the sides like you're crushing an Oreo.
