I wanted to love this so much because the notes were right up my alley, but unfortunately all I get is watermelon jolly rancher and sweat. Opens smelling like a car freshener before drying down to smell like my floor cleaner product only less chemical and more wearable for humans. Nobody I've asked has been able to detect this particular odor in the perfume except for me, but I dislike it so much, I stopped wearing it for a while. I was pleasantly surprised at first but then it reminded me of the most generic aroma you put in a reed diffuser. Great one to tone down scents that are too green or too tart, or just to use as an added kick to save some sprays from your more expensive perfumes.

However, I shouldn't have bought a full bottle because when I read why this perfume is kind of polarizing someone said that this perfume "smells like a armpit from the gym" I can totally see where they are coming from. This beautiful, minimalistic, 100ml bottle adorns a delightfully floral and aquatic fragrance made up of stunning notes including rosy pink pepper, sweet kiwi fruit, rhubarb, watermelon, jasmine, sandalwood and more.

The temperature has cooled down to 18-23°C where I live, and this fragrance smells absolutely perfect for daily use, it is the right amount of sweet, crisp freshly cut watermelon and a tasty hint of sourness from rhubarb, joyful and carefree, it’s like an elevated fruity shampoo scent. This is the scent you wear while you’re on holiday, frolicking and playing, having a bit of fun in the sun, and you’re not taking yourself so seriously. When I finally got a sample and sprayed it on my skin, I *hated* it - only watery ozone and a green 'lemontree' note.

When you do come back to the garden, saddened and exhausted, you are immediately hit in the face by this scent - Vile rotting fruit salad, heavy on the fermenting watermelon, that's been left sitting out in a hot climate next to a glass of flat, sugary lemonade, in a poorly kept garden that sits squarely underneath a flight path.I think that 99% of men find this fragrance very attractive but many women don’t because they are looking for something more complicated (less straightforward sexy, you know).

It's equal parts green, fresh and fruity so if you're looking for a yummy coctail-like fragrance, this might not be it.

With its delightful watermelon aroma, it instantly uplifts my mood and brings a refreshing vibe to my surroundings. Its devine feminine blend of fruity, sweet, and fresh notes, with the sweetness of watermelon and the refreshing touch of rhubarb, captures the essence of summer without feeling immature. It contains notes of kiwi, redcurrant, rhubarb, pink cyclamen, watermelon, sandalwood, grapefruit wood and musk. It was immediately very familiar/nostalgic but it took me a while to work out what it reminded me of.

This is in the same soprano register with perfumes like Perry Ellis 360 (the original), Michael Kors Sexy Blossom, Burberry Body EDP. Women models are Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova and Claudia Schiffer, and men are: Noah Mills, Fernando Fernanes and Tyson Ballou. The kiwi and rhubarb hits your nose right away upon spraying and for some reason, the fruitiness reminds me more of guavas, mixed fruit juice and/or sparkling juice. L'imperatrice is the survivor of the collection The Anthology based on tarot cards, a collection that was completely shipwrecked, the old one with the number three on the label is one of my favorite perfumes based on red fruits, mainly watermelon, accentuated by the juiciest and reddest part of rhubarb and with a point of fruity acidity from the kiwi that mixed with the aforementioned notes also reminds me many times of a very red and ripe guava, all this on a musky background with aquatic chords. A sheer, pink, fruity fragrance that has the duality of wateriness and ozonic air, probably an illusion made from the sparkling pink pepper and jasmine which tends to add a clean air accord when it’s not indolic.It is kind of an easy dumb reach office summer perfume for those who want to smell inoffensive and safe, but you will smell like a body wash all day. But for me it serves a very specific purpose, its like these work appropriate clothes cluttering up your closet that you can't get rid of because they are perfectly bland and boring to fit the office, while the rest of your stuff is so much nicer but you really don't want to suck the joy out of wearing them in a corporate setting. Though I like this and it’s simple, it does seem to be missing something… I’m wanting to layer it…I think a bright floral would make it too sharp, it’s just sharp enough on its own and I don’t want to make it sweeter either…maybe a light sunblock scent will smooth it out just a little bit which is could benefit from.
