In the beginning i absolutely loved this cleansing balm it removed my makeup insanely well, it didn’t leave any residue on my face afterwards, smells nice it was overall amazing. I found the Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm to feel quite light and smooth on my skin and it gently removed makeup and impurities without feeling harsh, dehydrating or overly greasy, although it did leave a light moisture-film over my skin that my second step water-based cleanser would need to deal with. Pharmacy describes this product as “a makeup remover and face cleanser that melts virtually all makeup, leaving skin hydrated and silky smooth”.

It removes all of my product, SPF (needs a little work with water proof mascara of course but it’s doable! However, this cleansing balm is a disappointment mostly because of how cloudy my eyes are after using it. I think the cleansing balm by Farmacy is an amazing alternative to micellar water or coconut oil to remove makeup. I'm pleased I haven't had any breakouts or other skin reactions as mentioned in some of the reviews. I still have to use another cleanser for second cleanse, but in the mornings this is such a gentle and smooth balm to wake up my skin.This fan-favourite unctuous cleansing balm makes light work of dissolving dirt, make up, sunscreen and excess oil - eliminating grime to leave skin 'squeakily' clean but never stripped. If using to break down makeup, wipe off any residue with a warm, damp washcloth or makeup remover cloth. Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing balm is exactly what it says it is: it’s a facial cleansing balm that literally melts the impurities and makeup away from your face.

This product may be better for people who wear heavier makeup as it could help breakdown everything. Coconut oil takes about a month before you begin to see pimples/clogged pores, so although it may seem fine initially, if you find yourself with unexplained acne, this is the cause! Formulated especially for sensitive skin types, this cleansing balm is free of fragrance, essential oils, colorant/dyes and PEGs.

Ideal for those with sensitive or reactive skin types, or simply those who prefer fragrance-free cleansers, this balm is formulated with sunflower oil, allowing the sorbet-like texture to melt on the skin into a silky oil. I'm used to makeup removers taking a bit of scrubbing to get things off, but this does exactly what is says, and melts off.
