With coconut listed I was expecting something along the lines of Tommy Bahama or even something similar to the CK One Summers. The ginger and star anise cut through the creamy coconut and accompanying vanilla notes a bit, but it's still a soft, sweet opening with a distinctly summery brightness to it that's quite hard to find. Unlike me, he isn't a perfume snob or a perfume collector, he doesn't care for expensive fragrances and only likes to own one cologne/scent at a time. Eternity Now, however, has a different dry down, and i can see myself reaching for this one occasionally. It is a very pleasant scent, although it does smell a bit synthetic but that is the usual for Calvin Klein fragrances.

Only when a good bit of time elapsed did I start finding it familiar, and it dawned on me that I had something similar in my younger years. i don't really smell any fruitiness from the star fruit as listed in the note breakdown here on fragrantica.This Fragrance is absolutly an Summer fragrance, you think you are at the beach when you smell that pretty awesome Coconut and vanilla this combination makes it so good.

This is refreshing, fruity, a bit brisk because of the explosive notes within the fragrance gun powder which reacts almost like staccato notes within a music composition.
