About this deal

I admit, I flew through Tabby's parts, so I could get back to Emily's, who was the more interesting character for me by far.

The Disappearance of Emily Marr was officially my first taste at Louise Candlish's writing and I absolutely loved every second of it. Publicis Groupe were founding members of AdGreen and Clare Donald, our Publicis Groupe UK chief production officer, sits on the steering committee. Suspicion, obsession, vengeance, spite, social media and mental health problems combine in this very modern story to create a compelling tale of suburban adultery gone horribly wrong. Jake Brigance has never met Seth Hubbard, or even heard of him, until the old man’s suicide note names him attorney for his estate.I thought it was going to be your average kind of chick lit but it actually had an excellent plot with a great twist that I didn't see coming. Arriving on the windswept Ile de R off the coast of France, Tabby Dewhurst is heartbroken and penniless, unable even to afford a room for the night. Emmie is virtually a hermit venturing out only to work so was it fate that bought Tabby to her door. It was mysterious, provoking and intriguing book and it was worth the time and I am extremely happy that I didn't put it away.
