Designed for musicians, DJs, concert-goers and music enthusiasts to listen to loud music with perfect clarity. I was interested in whether I’d get the same reduction in noise with other high-fidelity earplugs or even foam earplugs with a hole in them.

If you enjoy frequent concerts or if you perform and rehearse in loud settings, you really should invest in custom earplugs. Despite not being custom fitted the earplugs come with a massive array of tip options - from silicone to foam or even two/three tier flange. The amount of protection you need will vary based on the intensity and duration of the noise to which you’ll be exposed. Coming with a handy do-it-yourself kit to mould the silicone-based plugs to your ears, the whole process takes around 10 minutes. However, for occasional use or for times when you don’t need to hear every detail, such as at a bar, football game, or spin class, everyone on our panel agreed that the sound was exceptionally better through the universal-fit musician earplugs than through foam earplugs.
