About this deal

Jacqueline Wilson was one of my favourite authors growing up and I will continue reading her books as long as she keeps releasing them.

Flora "Floss" Barnes – A generally happy and bubbly girl who sometimes struggles to stand up for herself. Floss has a tough time getting used to life without her mother since her father is not used to taking care of Floss seven days a week and she is not used to his home seven days a week, either. She is neither pessimistic nor patronising but strikes a realistic balance in this latest addition to her comprehensive library. As the fourth Children's Laureate (2005-2007) she promoted the importance of sharing books, and reading aloud together.

After numerous trials that end in near homelessness, Flossie's father finally puts the divorce behind him. About girls everywhere, for girls everywhere, Candyfloss speaks in universals: it's about friendship, family, and growing up in a complicated world. Her mother doesn't understand why Floss would want to stay with her dad in his smelly money-losing cafe rather than go to Australia and live with them. One of Jacqueline’s most successful and enduring creations has been the famous Tracy Beaker, who first appeared in 1991 in The Story of Tracy Beaker. It’s already a grim story to read about a young girl struggling between two parents whom she loves dearly. Today her popular books for children have sold millions of copies and have been translated into more than thirty languages.

A brilliantly evocative portrait of modern life featuring an engaging heroine, Floos, from the mega bestselling Jacqueline Wilson. Jacqueline Wilson wrote her first novel when she was nine years old, and she has been writing ever since. One thing that helps me get to sleep at night is listening to some of her books I read as a child on audio. I think it's great for parents because it perfectly illustrates how kids' problems are just as big and serious and real as our adult-type problems.Dia memilih hidup bersama si ayah, hidup yang mendadak jadi kacau-balau, serba ngga pasti, dan terancam diusir karena cafe-nya dijadikan jaminan bank. Floss's parents are divorced, and she divides up her week, spending five days with her mum, her new stepdad and her baby half-brother.

Now, believe me, even though I know that her mother didn't walk out on her, it was totally not considerate of her to go and marry Steve, without thinking of Floss. Despite being a little absent minded sometimes, he cares deeply for Floss and only wants what's best for her. I'm wondering if Flora had a crush on all of her friends (Rhiannon - I would too, Susan - I would too, and Ella - ofc I would too) or maybe the news of Jacqueline's coming out made me see things and project my own experiences. This book was lovely, and even now, I just want to read it over, because the first time round I was so impressed with the way i could relate to the characters. She loves her Dad and enjoys spending time helping out in the Cafe, but if she didn’t go she wouldn’t she her Mum until six months after they leave! This book teaches you lots of things - what makes a good and true friend, love and loyalty and how to make candyfloss at the fair! I'm sure there's heaps more of things that bothered me but let's move onto the positive things: bisexual-coded bracelets and Susan. Floss ikut ibunya selama enam hari, dan di akhir pekan menghabiskan waktu di rumah ayahnya, yang merangkap cafe. In her usual upbeat manner, Jacqueline Wilson tackles such thorny issues as debt, homelessness and bullying.
