The operation and configuration of the Huawei B818 or Gigacube CAT19 takes place either via web interface in the browser or via an app. My first step would be go go through every page of the Huawei administration settings to see what options there are.

If you are unable to access the router's web-based management page, ensure that your computer is connected to the router through an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi. The modem part of the router is a good one - but let down by buggy software and ISP locking out features and Huawei will not attempt to support it.

One of these LAN ports can also be used as a WAN connection, so that one does not necessarily have to rely on the wireless modem integrated in the router. And if the signal is too weak in your location, you can amplify it by adding two 3G/4G LTE external antennas.
