I have never really been in to Dash Cams per se, but after being bought one for Xmas I am a bit perplexed. Dash cams with polarizing filters for two cars in the household, plus a rear view camera, ensure you’ll catch everything that happens out on the road whether you’re on your way to soccer practice or your evening commute home. But the using parking mode all the time, thats just too big a toll on the power of the car, at least with my amount of driving, so thats never going to happen for me unless i strike it big in the lottery.

Sharing footage has never been easier, you can send important footage to your insurance provider, as well as onto various social media platforms including the Nextbase server.On Boxing Day I installed the camera (just the front for now), but I just cannot understand what makes this a great camera. This means you can use full Alexa commands to play music, check the weather and control smart home devices, while also having direct communication with your dash cam to protect footage, start/stop recordings, send recordings to your phone and take a picture. It is big and bulky, only accepts a 128gb SD card maximum, is pretty much featureless, and the images are no better or worse than my previous Garmin. One is used for turning the power on and off, while the other is on the front of the camera (you can see it marked with a red line in the picture below) to save files from being deleted.
