Seppuku being nerfed is also a good thing for twinblades, now freeing up more AoW choices since you don't have to rebuff and heal every few minutes. Shield bash is also a good defensive-offensive ash of war, as it provides blocking frames during the entire attack. You can even compare the LED photo from pair 2 above and the xenon photo from this pair 3 and see how they look extremely similar in light output and revealing swirl marks, showing how much more powerful the LED is because those two photos have a difference in shutter speed.
With the ability to see everything in the paint clearly, I can select the correct polisher, pad and swirl remover to polish the paint to perfection. I'm getting a little sick of shields making me shield-brained (hiding behind my shield) so I'm trying to find something else to use in my off-hand (currently trying the pulley crossbow) but the centerpiece of my build remains one-handed twinblades because the balance of speed and damage and style feels so compelling to me right now.you may think it's long but your character's forward motion on each attack is very short so you end up not traveling as far as you would with other weapons and whiffing attacks when your enemy backs up a little. If you're like me and you enjoy two-handing twinblades rather than powerstancing (either because you prefer it or because you also run spells in offhand,) you can use some interesting mixups by alternating one-handed and two-handed combat. This light is pretty nice, it's plastic, but it has a metal reflector and is much lighter than the legend LX which I still love, but it a heavy light with lots of good solid aluminum in it.
The best advantage is that they count as only one weapon so you need less stones to upgrade them compared to dual wielding, and weapon buffs affect both ends, which is huge if using flaming strike, lightning strike, sacred blade or bloodflame blade. So, as you can imagine, if I took the LED photo at the same 1/50 as I did the xenon, the white paint would be almost completely washed out, making the swirl marks that much harder to see. Because it is a true show car, it had an exceptional finish with only very light swirls but the standard for a show car like this is zero swirls.If there is one attack in the game that needs hyper armor, it's the charge attack of Twinblades or make the charge up time much faster, because as it stands right now, the charge attack is objectivly unusable pve and pvp wise. these weapons are so weird when you think about it, they're better when two handed so strength is the obvious choice but they're more dex focused than anything else for obvious reasons, and the only pure physical damage one that's strength oriented has much lower range than it's dex counterparts. The Brinkmann Swirl Finder Light doesn't have to show gross swirls to be of value, it just has to light up the paint like the sun. Besides being a great light for exposing and highlighting swirls, it's also handy as a flashlight for around the house, in the car or on a camping trip.
