About this deal

It teeters on the edge of being delicious, without conforming to conventional sweet floral concoctions.

Not to mention, this isn't a heavy scent if you wear it right meaning it's essentially for all seasons. I don't know if it was this version or the Le Premier, but all I remember is myself and others absolutely hating it to the point where my mom made me stop wearing it. If she were a better friend she would give me one of her empty, beautiful bottles - the best part of this perfume for me. This seems to work because it also includes the powdery violet and iris, and some herbs and spice from the star anise, licorice and ivy.In fact, for the first time, a body perfume has been faithfully transcribed into an olfactory score for the company. com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission. It is a little similar to Guerlain's La Petite Robe Noire, but the latter is more cherry-forward, less interesting and less refined than Lolita. A talented, romantic and sophisticated woman, she created her brand Lolita Lempicka in 1983 and began her own fragrance collection with the help of her husband and later her three daughters.

Lolita Lempicka Homme cologne combines the label’s signature liquorice with masculine cedar, musk, and rum. This version is more liquorice forward, more earthy, but there's still that sweet fruity cherry note that I love. It's a spritz on pulse points, put on a super soft cozy sweater and pj bottoms, then curl up under a fuzzy throw with a kitty at my feet, to read on a chilly autumn evening kind of fragrance. This fragrance is sweet, but cleverly so, not too much with just the right amount of earthy mossiness brought by the vetiver.Top notes are Star Anise, Violet and Ivy; middle notes are Licorice, Cherry, Iris, Orris Root and Amaryllis; base notes are Vanilla, Praline, Tonka Bean, White Musk and Vetiver. I usually love unique fragrances that incorporate underutilized notes – I adore the Hermès Un Jardin collection, Demeter Dirt, Byredo Gypsy Water, Gap Grass – but to me Lolita Lempicka smells like moldy lawn clippings sitting in a black plastic yardwaste bag, emphasis on the plastic. In 2008, Lolita Lempicka released "Fleur Défendue" (Forbidden Flower) and "Fleur de Corail" (Coral Flower) inspired by her two first fragrances.

It lasts pretty long and the sillage is fine, but I can’t get past the almost headache-inducing sweetness.I have no words to express the enchantment that wearing this perfume causes me one winter afternoon walking in the grove. I can say though that this is a unique scent for sure, and I understand why other people might like it for it's unique qualities, but if you don't like licorice (because I'm pretty sure it's the licorice) I really don't recommend it.
