About this deal

Little Bird Gin is a perfectly well-rounded gin that strikes the right balance across the flavour spectrum – piney juniper, juicy grapefruit and a warm ginger spice. Crafted in small batches in the heart of the metropolis, this gin showcases a unique blend of pink grapefruit, sweet orange peel, and ginger.

Though it doesn’t distil on sight, Little Bird Gin has a bar in Matby Street Market, Bermondsey, that is well worth a visit, with a cracking cocktail menu and a warm, welcoming vibe.Once you have subscribed your subscription is active within immediate effect to take advantage of the exclusive offers, discounts and more.

I’d be cautious though mixing it with stronger citrus mixers— think gin and juice, gin and lemonade. One thing I would like to see there would be some nibbles such as nuts or crisps, just to snack with their drinks, maybe a cheese and charcuterie board, but that's just me being a foodie ! I had walked past many times during the weekend market but had such a nice calm vibe on a Thursday night. The recipe includes 10 botanicals including grapefruit, orange and ginger (represented by the lady on the bottle). A lively tang on the tongue gives way to luscious, velvety orange peel with a subtle underlying sweetness and a zesty finish.

The label was made with inspiration taken from the 1940’s Vargas, pin-up girls that decorated the sides of war planes which brought our troops back home safely.
