can be read as a standalone book and should probably be taken as one slice of Moen’s personal exploration of sex. Today's comic starts with a large, chibbi panel of the artist and reviewer, Hien Pham, who's eyes are wide, and wet, looking at the camera. It’s always one of my favorite parts of the weekly Oh Joy Sex Toy comics and it is no different in Drawn to Sex: The Basics . The toy reviews covered mostly well known high-end toys, but also mentioned a few toys I had never heard of before (the Womanizer and Eva). I really like the book reviews, all the strips about the world of porn and the strips about Erika and Matthew's life.

I also really enjoyed Isabella Rotman’s “Harnessing Savings,” a how-to guide for constructing your own dildo harness. Potential readers should note that while the main comic depicts sex acts for education and reviewing purposes, a few of the guest posts (at the back of this book) are purely erotica comics.They describe and review lot of things, from sex toys, to lubes, to possible infections, to books, to swingers parties.

Now, Moen’s husband and business partner Matthew Nolan has released information about how Oh Joy Sex Toy functions as a business (also probably a NSFW link).
