Might be too strong for day use in the summer, but thanks to the drydown I see it as a superb night time perfume for holidays and summertime. For me as a woman the interesting thing about this is the drydown when it smells like a sweet chocolate cream cocktail (on me). If you refer to my review of the original Joop then you will see how much I love the dry down of the original. It may also appeal more readily to the younger male consumers, those that may associate the original Joop! Homme feel where you do experience several scents and not just one single scent with traces of the others.

Despite the fun scent and the “wild” bottle with the skull, this is a mature scent that I think would smell more appropriate on people aged 30 plus. I don't have much of this left but when I wear it the decent longevity and sillage always lead to positive questions about what I'm wearing. I tried Maison Martin Margiela's "Jazz Club" recently, and found it very similar in vibe to The One - the fruity notes and smooth blending.Overall decent, for 25euros and 125ml it is a must have in collection as it doesnt smell like anything else. I get around 4 longevity ( during this 4 hours people can smell it around you or when you walk past) . It is very similar to the original Joop but I think it fits with the 'wild' name by being a much darker version. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag.

I gave it to my father, he weard it and it smelled sooo good, i only smelledbot on my self, but when u smell it on someone else, then u noticed how goodbu alwaya smelled with this. The scent is sweet, and after the dry down it smells kind of dry on my skin (maybe because of the white tobacco?The notes are so gender neutral in the base that I can't picture them being out of place on a woman, and the top and heart are better suited to the fairer sex.

It's the kind of scent that adapts to the man who, during the day, has a nice behaviour, but at night, is a transgressor.It is interesting that Alienor Massenet created this fragrance one year prior to her much celebrated Jazz Club.
