Dry down is where JCI takes a turn and goes more woodsy(cedar, patchouli, and something elso that i can't distinguish) and ambroxan. It's the kind of fragrance that complements both casual and more formal occasions, adding a touch of sophistication without being overbearing. The performance on this is mild, and it's more of an eau de cologne like the original choo man, a few hours in and I can't smell it anymore. Jimmy Choo is not taking the game serious or might have been at least at CK level in perfumes but now competing with Zara and burberry as far as performance goes am talking about perfumes .

I would say DHC projects more in the first half hour, but both fade to roughly the same soft performance afterwards. As Man Ice dries down, the musk and vetiver begin to develop, which gives this fragrance a earthy accord. The lemon then stops being the center and it goes to the back, staying most of its duration as a fresh slightly sweet scent. shaped like a whiskey hip flask but icy white with a lovely rubber crocodile skin pattern on the lid.

Application tip: Personally, I apply at least 10 sprays not because it isn't powerful, but in my opinion the more you put on the better you'll smell. sort of smells like dry leaves as they start to catch fire, I don't hate it so maybe it will grow on me.

Tested this side by side with azarro chrome sport and they both are very similar in the opening however the dry down of man ice has more depth Thanks to the musk note. A rich, woody finish of mysterious moss, masculine musk and ambroxan adds depth to the fragrance composition.Just overspray on skin and shirt and you're good to go for the next 2-3hrs outdoors or 3-4hrs in a/c with decent projection and scent bubble.

But what is undeniable, is that Jimmy Choo Man Ice value for money (now in discounters) is indisputably better.

I'm hoping it's the citron that gives it this effect, I'm going to try to get my nose on some other citron or yuzu scents that have vetiver in the background and see if they do the same trick for me. This scent has top notes of bergamot, citron and mandarin, heart notes of cedar, vetiver, patchouli and apple, and base notes of moss, musk and ambroxan.
