About this deal

When Corey wakes up in the tunnel and first meets Michael, the limited light sources and the dour color scheme are nice and creepy. predecessor, either, if that matters, though the climax and the dénouement certainly don't shy away from some pretty intense blood and guts. Home Entertainment's Black Adam topped both the the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts in its debut.

The horror landscape has undoubtedly evolved since 1978 and while there are still plenty of films produced with no greater purpose or idea other than to provide the audience with a good time, there’s also a new batch that can successfully weave greater throughlines of thematic resonance into their traditional storylines and produce works of greater interest. And for a young man named Corey (Rohan Campbell), tainted by a horrible accident from years ago, his tragedy will come face to face with the embodiment of Evil - Michael Myers. Subtitles are English SDH, Spanish, Mandarin, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian and Swedish. Europe's busiest forums, with independent news and expert reviews, for TVs, Home Cinema, Hi-Fi, Movies, Gaming, Tech and more. Ultimately, the film on its own has merits – a solid cast, handsome production values, another great John and Cody Carpenter score and some interesting themes being explored.Well, on revisiting Halloween Ends now on 4K disc, it’s clear that that initial reaction was not quite true. and yet what Green and co singularly failed to do was deliver a set of coherent films that delivered on their third and final and arguably most important promise.

John Carpenter coming back to score the films is probably the best thing to come from this middling trilogy. I liked the storyline dispite some flaws: and the sudden "accidental" death of the child was a surprise/shock! Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse. Plus as you say Mark, I don’t get the transfer from MM as inhuman killing machine to a wounded animal - all it would have taken is a new scene showing him bleeding at the start of Ends to indicate that he wasn’t invulnerable and was having to deal with something new. Movements are cinematic and smooth with no issues from any sort of quick camera movements or character actions causing a jitter or blur.

I loved all of this stuff because it felt real and emotionally raw and was actually a smart path to take for a franchise riddled with stupidity. The commentary is intermittently interesting but, like the video extras, a little too self-aggrandising. Certainly not the ending Halloween fans wanted for Michael or Laurie, it appears that the desire to make Halloween more than it was has gotten in the way of it being simply what it should.
