About this deal

What with Baffled being as simple a game as it is, the main element of gameplay (board spaces) are an integral part of any strategies or plays an opponent might want to try on. I really love the simplicity of this game and you can really use any small sized object in the box so it will be ideal to take away with us.

Recently Cheatwell Games asked us to review two of their games so last Friday night that’s exactly what we did. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. In just 60 seconds you must memorise the position of the twelve symbol tiles…BUT prepare to be Baffled as the symbols constantly swap and change positions around the board!By signing up you agree to Crafty Arts Ltd using your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Around the edge of the board is a typical board game style path for players to work their way around based on throws of the die. The trick with games is to actually get the board and other things out of the box first and read the rules in conjunction with them.

There are a few ways you can adjust it, to play it with people of different ages, but I’ll come to that in a moment. We were particularly impressed that the game even suggested strategies to help children (and grown ups) remember the tiles. That includes having bigger boxes to have a more visible place on the board game shelf, and, of course, having appealing components, which one could argue, Baffled has. The idea of the game is that you remove all the covers, players spend 60 seconds memorising the position of the tiles and then the covers are all put back down. I feel like games like this might not always get the recognition they deserve, whether that’s because they are seen as too simple, said to be very juvenile, or be based on a concept that doesn’t seem interesting enough to play.Baffled is a memory game aimed, according to the box, at kids of ages eight and above, but really a five-year-old could comfortably understand and play it too.
