The AVENSI is a next generation coffee cup designed to maximize your coffee’s taste, aroma, and flavor. On 2 August 2010, it was announced the British Touring Car Championship's NGTC prototype car would be built around the Toyota Avensis. This, coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox, has lowered fuel consumption, emissions, and gives a quoted 0–97 km/h (0–60 mph) time of 10.

The Avensis Verso was the back-to-back winner of Australia's Best People Mover award in 2002 and 2003. The Toyota Safety Sense pack combines four active safety technologies: the Pre-Collision System is available as standard on all grades, while Lane Departure Alert, Auto High Beam and Road Sign Assist are available as standard from mid-grade models. In terms of dimensions, the inner diameter of the VIDA and SENTI are too small for the Aeropress (60mm and 62mm) but the inner diameter of the ALTO is 85mm. In Argentina and Brazil, it was sold as the Toyota Corona (as seen on brochures), but in Chile and Peru, it was sold as the Corona Avensis.
