About this deal

There's a 24G2U variant available in some regions that should perform similarly, but it includes a USB hub and built-in speakers. Whether you´re dashing through explosions or screeching around rain slicked bends, wave goodbye to screen tearing and lag - and leave your opponents in your smoothly rendered dust. Equip yourself with twice the frame rate of other monitors and say goodbye to image stuttering and blurry motion. For more options, check out our recommendations for the best 24-25 inch monitors, the best budget gaming monitors, and the best 1080p monitors. Not all users prefer this saturated look – luckily, the AOC 24G2 has an sRGB mode, which limits the color gamut to the standard sRGB space for more accurate color reproduction.

Stand is solid and has a wonderful amount of movement, from the chin of the monitor being pretty much resting on the base, to something around 6-8 inches higher than that. G-SYNC works in a surprisingly simple way - it calculates how long the present frame takes to compute and then, crucially, varies the refresh rate of the monitor to match. Make sure the power button is ON and the Power Cord is properly connected to a grounded power outlet and to the monitor. Menu does have a lot of options to tweak etc but the layout although fine is hampered by the button combos you have to press to do stuff. The ergonomics are great so that you can get a comfortable viewing position, and it gets bright enough to combat glare in well-lit settings.

The AOC also has a much better stand, with a full range of height, swivel, and tilt adjustments, and you can rotate it to portrait orientation. Its 24" screen might feel a bit cramped if you work with multiple windows simultaneously, and its 1080p resolution is limiting.

Used alongside the Radeon Freesync, the movement is buttery smooth when paired with a 5700XT and the 1080p resolution is bang on for the 24" size when paired with that card. Ocuk Limited trading as Overclockers UK is a credit broker, not a lender, and is Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. The 'Strong' setting that we recommend at max refresh rate has the fastest gray-to-gray response time at 60Hz, but its total response time is slower, and there's significantly more overshoot causing inverse ghosting. Consiglio di spendere un po’di tempo nella ricerca dei settaggi video sui siti specializzati per ottenere una migliore resa cromatica, la differenza si nota tantissimo.Your feedback is important to us, your review about this product will be revised by our experts and will be published within 5 working days. The AOC scores higher because it has a Black Frame Insertion feature, but you can't use it simultaneously with VRR. Again, it's fine for gaming and general productivity, but it's not ideal for work like photo and video editing. Its 1ms MPRT reaction time and FreeSync Premium technology deliver smooth, beautiful images that even make games with high-end requirements more enjoyable and ensure you keep your competitive edge in multiplayer. For the best results, you can use the Strong preset, but note that at lower frame rates, it can introduce pixel overshoot or inverse ghosting, in which case you should stick with the Medium preset.
