This book is great we laughed out loud and refer to it often (particularly when we go to the park (‘check you’ve not left your bottom over there. This charming new tale in the Princess Arabella series, featuring BAME characters, is full of gentle humour about the ups and downs of sibling relationships. Paul Linnet was born in Brighton and grew up in the Midlands, reading Tintin and playing classic 80s video games, before becoming obsessed with scribbling, writing, guitars and motorcycles. It helps that it has a monkey in (my daughter is obsessed) but the story is funny for adults and great for like alike. In a word; Hilarious… It's a genius story which is brilliantly illustrated with bright and vibrant colours and child friendly characters. Our team is made up of book lovers who are dedicated to sourcing and providing the best books for kids.We bought the first one afterwards (I hadn't realised this was a second book), sadly its not quite as good. At Books2Door, we believe that reading is a fundamental skill that every child should have to help improve their vocabulary, grammar, and critical thinking skills. Hendra and Linnet are at the top of their game when it comes to funny books for 2-4 year olds, and this hilarious homage to farts, bottom burps and bums is a perfect read for little ones looking for lots of laughs as well as a story about being kind to our friends. Overall, it's not one of my personal favourites (unlike the original) but it's still another great read for the 2-5 age range, from this hugely successful pairing.
