I was instantly afraid I'd smell like sugared windex - but this calms down after the first half hour or so. I think this perfume is a modern classic - non offensive, but present, feminine, elegant and classy.

I smell pear, maybe bananas and sweet roses - very well crafted and super lasting fragrance - the whole day. Love in Paris is so floral feminine classy elegant powdery perfume, though I don't find any citrus notes in this, its long lasting beautiful fragrance, I love every note in this perfume! Like the dresses that the designer loved to decorate with all kinds of flowers, the essences are reminiscent of a fragrant spring garden.

The only drawback was the drydown - on my skin, the basenotes smelled of pencil shavings, which often happens to me with fragrances that have synthetic woodsy notes. They just peek through from time to time and remind me that this could have been at least a nice creamy everyday perfume if they toned down the sharp cleanliness, especially in the sillage.

Scent is nice, but I don't see that classy kind of image I would like to see when dreaming of Paris. Love it forever) It's a pity that the pyramid has become somewhat simpler since then - maybe my skin and sense of smell have changed together: unfortunately, it happens. No doubt it's a solid fragrance-nothing about this could be at all offensive--however, it's not at all original or memorable. It reminded me a bit of Annick Goutal Petite Cherie because of its slightly synthetic pear note in the top. This smell is too commercial and I have the feeling that every second woman has it and puts it on her all the time because it is modern.

I bought this for my wife in July, but I didn't check the expiration date right away at the post office. At first, it seemed like jam, even got a little disappointed, but after about 15 minutes, the scent completely opened up and the awful jam turned into a delicate fragrance with an interesting bouquet.
