These share a fatality move set unfortunately but it’s still a nice way to add some extra characters to the game. My only gripe with it is the lack of stage variety, some stages look similar where they could have been a little more creative but that's the nitty gritty.This is still that good fighting game from last year, without any significant additions nor massive changes besides new characters and cosmetics. The game is well-deserving of a play on the next generation of consoles, and it features a good story mode and some of the best graphics they've seen in a video game in ages. The only downside to Mortal Kombat X was that a lot of extra content was locked behind some expensive DLC paywalls. It may not be as vigourously tweaked for balance like other games but equally we’re not expecting to see five different versions of it. Aside from all the early DLC content (with characters like Goro, Jason Vorhees and Predator), you also get the second season pass pack which adds some very interesting characters. With improved netcode and all balance fixes NetherRealm has released so far, Mortal Kombat XL is nearly a flawless victory. WELL DONE MK XL this game is the most refreshing and the very least disappointing game I've bought in a long, long time.Summary Includes main game, and new playable characters Alien, Leatherface, Triborg, and Bo'Rai Cho. I thought it was great, sure you'll still have your preferences but at least you'll have that option to experiment with the same character, see what works best for you. Each character on the roster has 3 different variations of their fighting styles, as well as a generous selection of costume skin's. The fatalities in this game are so gory, that it make fatality moves from the last game look tame in comparison. It’s one thing getting extra campaigns via DLC but when it is just characters and skins, it all feels a bit of a rip off to me.
