The presentation of the bottle is fantastic, lovely bottle with a magnetic cap and a pressurised atomizer which is a very nice touch. But after wearing it for a few days I can say this is a somewhat unique scent awash in a sea of blue laundry detergent frangrances.

I let it rest for a few weeks, spraying it on a hand occasionally to see if anything changed, and overtime it did change.It contains notes of lemon, grapefruit, lavender, ginger, jasmine, apple, oak, sandalwood, birch, patchouli and musk. Opens up with a synthetic lemon smell for the first few minutes and then starts to dry down into a creamy citrus. At this point you’re comparing apples to apples but I think Missoni is a little cleaner considering there’s no incense, although that’s one of my favorite characteristics of BDC. To me this IS overhyped, very much so but it is definitely also a decent alternative to Chanel AHS and smells frankly quite similar, much better presentation too. Very safe and fresh fragrance, I have only compared it to Bleu De Chanel EDP and to me they are very different.

Jasmine hedione mixes with a bit of violet but the dusty warm spice of Bleu de Chanel is absent, while the soapiness of the top is replaced with an inexplicable juiciness that eventually subsides when the vetiver and incense accord (the latter being norlimbanol) comes to reassert the likeness to the Chanel. it has a fresh sparkling openning like the BDC but this one in the dry down got a very addicting fresh musky woodiness to it. for 50ml, well still expensive compared to pre-hype rates but nevermind) and I feel I expected too much.If you are looking for a nice, calming, inoffensive everyday wear fragrance that resembles a little to BDC EDT without the incense then this is it.
