It's a fairly unremarkable selection here, but you will be pleased to see that the Classic Space logo is indeed printed on the 2x4 slope. She has another control panel, this time in '82' configuration, but no way to use it unless her whiskers are more than just sensory.

Thanks to this set, not only will a new generation of kids love Classic Space but also TFOLs and AFOLs will have a bunch of excellent Space parts with which to create awesome spaceships.

His head wouldn't look out of place in the Star Wars universe, though there is no alternative 'face' on the rear. I’ve thought about picking up a second one for my daughter, actually, to go alongside the Shuttle Adventure set (which I would have been crazy for as a kid). The shape is admittedly less easy to discern from the top, but you do get to see how each section of the ship bulks out progressively front to rear. If you posted links to neo-classic space (which I still enjoy going to, btw), then you don't have a point about ignoring LUGNET because of the 'archaic nature' of it. You covered everything it was really enjoyable to read, I have to say that seeing the Space Wyldstyle fig on yoru pics already sold this set for me (not like I wasn't aching for it already ), she is beautiful and I love that CS motif in the painting The ship itself is also outstanding and it's great to see so many play functions without making the ship look like they are squeezed in.

It sounds a little lame, but it's really rather effective, and fun; also, it greatly increases the wingspan, particularly if . Of course, I'm biased because this set represents the ultimate in nostalgia for me, but that also brought a huge weight of expectation to this build. He woke me up at 7am on the Sunday after Christmas so I would come downstairs with him while he opened up the final bag to finish it off. Four of the figures are exclusive to this set, and Benny is only available otherwise in the pricier Sea Cow; you've got to love Wyldstyle's outfit.Later on, when the Lego World started their battle against Lord Business' plan to kraglize everything with the Kragle, Benny finally gets his chance to build his spaceship. Note the manoeuvring thrusters - a prerequisite of any Classic Space vessel; though here they have the 'green-for-starboard, red-for-port' lights configuration of aircraft, real or LEGO (these days, at least). The numbered stickers you see above, things like latch, and unfortunately, the classic space logo on the back wings, are all stickers.

Those little spacemen rocketing around in blocky ships, elements like transparent wings and windscreens, and all sorts of crazy rovers and shuttles. It is sleek, streamlined, yet sturdy; there is just the right balance between functionality and greebling; it is fun for play and great for display. Emmet, in his hilariously unconvincing disguise as Robo Emmet, has silver muck all over his face and a little on his feet, but most exciting I think is his Piece of Resistance - that weird 1X1X2 brick with a hole in the side - which comes in Flat Silver [BL]/Silver Met.It’s a bit disjointed as a lineup, since when we see the spaceship in the movie, Emmet has been tossed into the void and there were pilots shown for a few seconds before it became all about robot skeletons for some reason. This is probably my favourite bit of homage in this whole set; they're adorable and will be really useful.
