To promote the release, Kate has officially published the 1991 video for Rocket Man for the very first time.Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada A veteran Canadian broadcaster, Bob Mersereau specializes in popular music writing.

I'm not sure what else I can add - apart from Kate Bush's curiously moving vocal tone, phrasing and peculiarly English sound seem to work on some other exquisite level.Read more about the condition New: An item that is still in its original shrink wrap from the manufacturer and the original manufacturer’s seal (if applicable) has not been removed. Most artists in the mid seventies played guitar but Elton played piano and I dreamed of being able to play like him. That meant I also had the chance to direct the video which I loved doing – making it a performance video, shot on black and white film, featuring all the musicians and… the Moon!Track 2-8 taken from Ne T'enfuis Pas / Un Baiser D'enfant (French single B-side – EMI 50999 1 65152 7, 1983). The four CDs celebrate b-sides, 12-inch mixes, rare tracks and cover versions - with one CD being devoted to covers including Kate's versions of Elton John's 'Rocket Man' and 'Candle in the Wind,' and George and Ira Gershwin's 'The Man I Love'. As with most of her covers of classics, Bush charts a course between respecting the original and being Kate Bush, a fascinating dance that can feel restrained by politesse.

While the Remastered in CD II box set features this compilation as a single album, the Remastered in Vinyl IV box set features it split across 2 parts. Burning Bridge” is one of her most dizzying vocals; at point she sounds like she’s making herself seasick. Released as part of Bush’s definitive remastering project in 2018, the set was originally included in the Remastered Part II box set, before receiving a separate release in March 2019. The 12” versions, more extensions than reinventions, include the unhinged “meterological mix” of the Hounds Of Love single “Big Sky,” pumped up with machine-gun handclaps and didgeridoo drones.Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse. The French version of Never For Ever’s “The Infant Kiss” (“Un Baiser D’Enfant”), based on the 1961 film The Innocents, and the French original “Ne T’Enfuis Pas,” make a diptych suggesting Bush might’ve had a nifty collaboration with Serge Gainsbourg. It looks like a complete overview, but there are still tracks missing, like ‘Ken’, or ‘Not this time’.
