About this deal

LaTonya started her eponymous blog as a way to document the coming and goings of a new young mother, and it has now grown into a celebrated lifestyle site focused on family, style, design, wellbeing, and culture. This included different religious hair traditions, different styles, different colors, and even no hair at all. Our mission is to celebrate the black hair experience by encouraging girls to learn, love and build a relationship with their crown!

The ultimate hair salon experience in Worcester is waiting for you at Wicked-Hair, Book an appointment online or via the phone and enjoy our relaxing salon experience and extensive range of hairdressing services. The Pro-Blogger-Interview- Lucy from Lulastic Blog – I loved reading this, I find Lucy’s blogging journey very inspiring! I would like to know if someone has tried this with thin hair, as it works differently than with thicker hair. I just couldn’t resist this book, I haven’t seen many hair books and this one looked colourful and fun.

I have very fine, blonde hair- could this be the problem- will I ever get to the point I can go longer between washes? The bold and simple illustrations will attract the attention of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, while the simple language is perfect for reading aloud to younger children. It is so important that I understand your likes and dislikes to enable me to create you the wedding hairstyle for your dreams. ONce your hair as adjusted it will go one of two ways- you will wake up and be like OMG MY HAIR LOOKS EFFING FANTASTIC! Every time I see another news headline about a woman in hijab denied the right to work, or study, or live her life normally…I wonder what the solution to such ignorance could be.

There is so much information (and also a lot of misinformation) it makes for disorganised reading and is hard to refer to on your No Poo journey. It uses bold, bright colors and it will definitely open up a discussion about the different types of hair children have observed during their young lives. I highly recommend "Hair Love" to all families, but especially to Black families because it celebrates and embraces the unique things that make us who we are. I also have implemented my Grandmother’s wisdom of brushing my hair every night for 5 minutes (though I need to invest in a natural hairbrush). Although we will already know from your Pre-Wedding Trial the look you are going for, I like to allocate at least two hours to dress my brides hair on the morning of her wedding day.As she waits at the salon, flicking through hair magazines for inspiration, she considers the variety of styles sported by her friends and family. So I’m doing this once a week, and using shampoo once a week, and it’s not perfect but finally when I wash my hair like this it is as clean and feels as good as when I use shampoo – no heaviness, no waxiness. Googling the subject is great, but this book filters out a lot of the info that can be confusing and explains things very clearly and simply. I also like to “coloring” my hair with…sweet paprika powder 😉 [I put on my hair the blend of peppers with water for 1-2 hours].

I love the terminology it uses, like "poufy hair" and "covered hair" (for hijabs) and "all gone hair" (for bald heads). For me the real key was learning to not do pure water washes, and to avoid the hard water on my hair as much as possible.I really appreciate the opportunity from Netgalley and the publisher to read and review an advance copy of this book!
