When we first see it in the Walsh's attic it is very stained with red ink splatter and spilled wax, and it bears lots of indecipherable text. The last known sighting of the fabled pirate One Eyed Willy was centuries ago as he and his crew were sealed in a cave, after a war between the British and the pirate ship the Inferno. I came up with plausible Spanish sentences for the indecipherable text, and tweaked the riddles so they reflect what the characters actually say in the movie. A surviving map that was given away as a 'wrap gift' at the film's completion serves as the base for this replica.

There are also many fold lines on the map, some to make it easier to carry, while others are attempts to find more of the clues hidden within the map itself.I'm very happy with the result, I think it is the most plausible and screen-accurate version of the map I have seen anywhere!
