I run it through a fender champion 40 on the clean channel where it really brings out the glassy clean epiphone tone! Some guitars are made to be pieces of art for display while some are created for the everyday player or brand new learner to use as they see fit. It’s not bad enough to be a real problem—I might have expected worse—but it does catch me up a little. Epiphone use components made from more affordable alternatives that help to reduce costs, such as substituting the original's Mahogany body for a Poplar one. But coming from someone who has been playing for a while, it took a lot of EQ fiddling and pickup height adjustment to get them where I wanted.
