About this deal

have to admit, sometimes, i wasn't really convinced with the romance and the progression was a bit too fast for my liking considering their history but i get it. If it wasn’t for Elsa’s Aunt and Uncle who saved her life with a major heart surgery, Elsa would be dead.

Aiden King, the hero of the book/series and my ultimate book hero bias, is the heir to the King Empire and a hot-blooded, football-loving and psychotic 18-year-old. Many of the books I’ve read felt fickle – like the guy bullies the girl for the heck of it, no tangible reasons. apparently, the second couple were step-siblings or some shit😭 idk if any of you guys like that I have nothing against you just not for me lol. Here's a little suggestion to the author: "If the only purpose of your book is steamy romance, at least do it well.Obviously we all know it will have a HE'S finish and he'll realise just how much he's in love with her, but at what cost will it transpire! I do want to warn you that this is a cliffhanger so be prepared to grab and jump right into the next. Bits and pieces sneak through in flashbacks and dreams, and I was trying to piece everything together along with Elsa. But waking up from a martini-and-lust-fueled night to find herself married to Caiden Verran, the reclusive billionaire who owns the hotel and most of the city, isn’t the jackpot one would think.

So right, that is where Steel Princess left off, and Rina doesn’t disappoint with the story continuation. This dark high school bully romance is not for the faint of heart, but for those who dare to explore the forbidden and embrace the unconventional, it is an absolute must-read. This accident, coupled with her faulty heart and loss of memory, made it hard for Elsa to connect with a lot of people. I liked the heroine, who, in contrast to many other modern heroines possesses the ability to stand for herself. She ends up locking her emotions inside while at school, earning her a reputation for being “frozen”. Elsa is a female character who came to a new school wishing she had top marks so she could apply for Cambridge. She is more or less defective body parts glued together with weak threads of who she thinks she needs to be for those around her.

turns out it’s actually quite hard to get into high school based books when you’re older than the characters. You want to know what’s going to happen next, and you can’t help but salivate over Aiden’s darkness and Elsa’s strength to try to push him away. Few bully stories have captured me but this author’s series is really pulling me in and honestly I really like her heroine’s because even though there is some betraying body moments they don’t let it control the brains that God gifted them with! To be honest, I am not really a huge fan of bully books, and the start of this one was a little rough for me.His fingers are back to my bra again, but instead of tracing like earlier, his thumb and forefinger latch onto my pebbled nipple through the cloth and he pinches. I read this twice, read the prequel Cruel King from the Noble Savages anthology, and ran out of time to remain soaking in this Royal Elite world. So in book two, our Steel Princess is born upon the sacrificial stone of Deviant King’s poolside cliffhanger; the revelation has finally come to Elsa that she needs to remover herself from the Kings’ gameboard.

And I’m prepared for the rotten tomatoes and voices of dissent but hear me out before you get angry. Shane East and Keira Stevens were made for this series and I can't imagine any other narrators doing these books the justice they've done them [so far].

She can be a sassy girl, standing up for herself and her friend, Kim, but also an insecure girl due to the fact of her memory lost.
