About this deal

His fur is soft and his face tries very hard to be scary, but he does like it when you tickle his nose (he makes noises) and if you press his tummy, he'll record your voice and play it back in his monster accent. The Crate Creature Bashers have an on and off switch (batteries included) and when you pull their tongue they make gross sounds!

The best part, however was being able to head to the museums very own viewing area which is near the Gatwick runway to plane spot! We were kindly sent a Crate Creature surprise recently and Annabelle was so excited to open it up to see who she got.If you press your Crate Creature's tummy and speak they will record your voice and repeat it back to you - monster style of course! Snort Hog is just the right size to hold and play with and he has soft fur and plastic face and hands/feet. Crate Creatures Surprise toys are recommended for children aged 4+ and I think this is spot on as my almost 4 year old really likes this toy. With a grizzly exterior of ferocious fuzz, squirting snot, glowing eyes and growling noises, they’re big softies really.

Not only that, but each cardboard crate turn into a target and then the aim of the game is to fling your Basher onto it! He loved geeking out at the live flight radar which shows you what planes are coming in and out of the airport in real-time. Unlock him from his crate to discover the slimy snot that squirts out of his nose, knock him over for his snotty growls and record your own message to hear him grizzle back. There’s a good choice tapas on offer from Punjabi fish fingers, Indo Chinese Chicken to Spiced Lamb Scotch Eggs and Manchurian Cauliflower (which was amazing! In my opinion, as a mother to two boys who love making silly sounds, pretending to be monsters and anything a bit crazy, it's a perfect toy for the 4+ age group, although, Beau has also gotten a laugh out of Pudge too and he's only 2. With this in mind, you can imagine how excited he was when he found out about Crate Creatures Bashers, they are smaller, more compact and there's more of them to collect. He's in demo mode when you get him - he has an opening in his back for you to switch him over to 'On' (Demo/ Off/ Quiet/ Loud). Noah has been a fan of collectibles since he was a toddler and his collections have quadrupled over the years!

It's easier than it sounds - although these little critters will shout and growl and try to scare you off. This is such a cool way of packaging these crate creatures and not only are they incredibly fun to open, but they are great at storing him in too. The quality of the crate, Sizzle and the accessories are really good and would be able to withstand quite a bit of rough monster play.Once you open up the crate, your monster will pop up – thanks to a spring-loaded platform – which is a pretty fun way to have him introduce himself. I was delighted when we were asked if we would like to review the Crate Creatures Surprise and Crate Creatures Barf Buddies as I was being badgered incessantly for them. One of the most sought after toys this Christmas is the Crate Creature Surprise and luckily for Tyler, he was given one to feature here on the blog!
