The Life P2 Mini's unique selling point is that it has three equalizers you can switch from straight from the earbuds. They also don't support Bluetooth multi-device pairing, a feature that's finding its way into other budget in-ears like the Skullcandy Dime 3 True Wireless.
It has this typical thick Soundcore-thump: it's not very fast or precise, but it still feels powerful as its strikes last quite a while. Anker supports aptX, AAC, and SBC for wireless streaming; whether you have an iPhone or Android smartphone, you’ll hear high-quality audio.Luckily, they block the high frequencies of A/C units well, making these a decent option to keep you concentrated in the office.
Soundcore Wireless Headphones, by Anker Life P2 Mini Wireless Earbuds, 10mm Drivers with Big Bass, Custom EQ, Bluetooth 5. The charging case may be smaller than a sticky note, but it’s got enough power to charge the earbuds 4 times before it needs recharging itself. Their total battery life of nearly 35 hours is among the highest of any truly wireless headphones we've tested.EQ Modes: Soundcore Signature, Bass Booster, and Podcast modes tailor the sound profile to what you’re listening to. Each earbud is outfitted with a button showcasing the Soundcore logo, and these buttons are incredibly difficult to press. I initially thought just the left earbud housed a button because it required so much force to press the right button. EQ Modes: soundcore Signature, the default EQ, delivers well-balanced sound, while Bass Booster enhances bass-heavy music, and Podcast makes voices stand out clearly. Compared to the Bass mode of the Life P2 mini, the Life P3 has more articulated bass thumps, more controlled lower mids, clearer vocals and upper-mids, and its sound feels more around you as well.
The first time around I was impressed with the build quality and finish and the same can be said for these Life P2 Mini’s. The Anker have a much better-balanced sound profile, better controls, significantly better noise isolation, and a longer single-charge battery life. After quite a bit of testing, it's not really clear when noises are reduced well, or when they come through loud - inconvenient. Thanks to their water- and sweat-resistant finish, in accordance with IPX5, these wireless earphones are also weatherproof and can be used during sporting activities, and the slim housings also fit under a cap or hat.The Air 2 sound reproduction, design, and fit are almost identical, but the Life have wireless charging, a dedicated app, a more durable-feeling case, and touch-sensitive controls. The Soundcore by Anker Life P2 Mini features 10mm drivers, which the manufacturer claims provide an extra dose of bass. Track selection is made by briefly holding the right earpiece, and you can skip forward and back with the left.
The Soundcore by Anker Life P2 Mini, which can also be used individually in single mode, can be paired as soon as the charging case is opened. On the upside, the headphones are also rated IPX7 for waterproofing, though we don't currently test this. On the other hand, the TOZO isolate sound better, support wireless charging, and are IPX8 rated for waterproofing, though we don't currently test for this.The P2 Mini holds a strong Bluetooth connection up to 9-10 meters away from your device and works great in areas full of wireless connections as well. While they do a good job of this in the mid-range, where speech sits, unfortunately, they don't block the low rumble of engines well. If you're looking for longer continuous battery life, you may prefer the Sony WF-C500 Truly Wireless. Despite the cheap feel of the Anker Soundcore Life P2, they’re rather durable and can be fully submerged for up to 30 minutes (IPX7 rating).
