The only criticism I have for the book is the dragging in the middle when Ophelia arrives to Pole, and tries to get to know people. E. Most of all, where the story leaves us, more than being mad or upset by, I just simply don't understand from an authorial and creative standpoint. Relatedly, I thought the world-building qualities of the Mirror Visitor to be of its most novel feats, of the most fresh and excitable items to offer readers. I loved her reclusive, mirror-walking heroine Ophelia, whose grit and integrity will surely win through! Diciamo che alcuni scivoloni sarebbero stati forse del tutto evitabili e che dai prossimi (che leggerò sicuramente) mi aspetto molto di più perchè questa serie ha davvero molto potenziale e ve la consiglio assolutamente!I expected an enchanting novel about people with the ability to read objects, their histories, and so on.

Beneath her worn scarf and thick glasses, the young girl hides the ability to read and communicate with the souls of objects, and the power to travel through mirrors. Dabos does a wonderful job of creating backstories and slowly revealing them throughout the book, which explains why the characters are so horrible.
