It keep squeezing thoese bubble gum around 1 hours mark before it’s start to sit down and unfold the vetiver. This is star of the show. This vetiver smell earthly like wet-soil, almost mossy but clean at the same time and it remains their until end of it life. If a fragrance is too layered and difficult to wear = "masterpiece, different from all, bold, something to prove' Smells a lot better than many 'niche' fragrances I've tried. What is truly baffling is niche snobs bemoaning people for wanting to smell nice, well not everyone wants to smell like a furry animal's nether regions crossed with a mouldy Camembert cheese that was abandoned in a derelict bedsit only to become a shrine to the rodent population.

I think every man should at least have one of these kinds of scents in his collection. Something he can spray on whenever that will work in any situation and that will make him smell good to most people. Fans of Ralph Lauren will be pleased to see the stunning whisky-flacon design return in Ralph’s Club Parfum. The matte and gunmetal bottle is topped off by a a flask-style cap. Is it super unique or challenging like many in the community want? No. Still, I’m a little surprised by the low rating and all the hate. Solid release that you and the people around you will enjoy. To me this doesn't smell that much like Y Le Parfum, which has a much more distinct sweet grapefruit note at the top that I don't care for. This is much smoother and more balanced.

As for this fragrance, while it's certainly nothing new and no doubt quite overpriced at retail (aren't they all?!), it's one of those versatile, people pleasing scents which is also pleasant for the wearer if they feel like wearing something simple & pleasant on a particular day. The true market for this fragrance, as with many of the Chanel's, Dior's YSL's and so on (which get far more hype/love) is to please the masses, not so much the fragrance 'enthusiast' especially those who seek something 'different' smelling, to put it politely. If you’re in the market for a versatile all-rounder, something that will get you from the office to date night with ease, you could do much MUCH worse. It’s blind buy worthy if you loved the EDP, but even if you hated Ralph’s Club with a passion, I highly highly recommend sampling it. The parfum is much smoother, more mature and such a huge improvement over its predecessor that it’s hard not to wonder why the EDP was even released! The base is bold and powerful; it takes on an earthy tone using vetiver, patchouli and cashmeran. Vetiver and patchouli can both be dominant notes, but they’re layered expertly in Ralph’s Club Parfum so they never overwhelm you. I am someone who very rarely gets compliments on fragrances. I call BS on anyone claiming “fragrance XYZ got me 7 compliments today.” Then I read the comments: "Boring, safe, inoffensive, incredibly linear". I couldn't believe it. But just think to yourself, not everyone wants to smell incredibly offensive and difficult, Ralph's Club will get the job done in simply smelling clean and great IMO!It can be wear everyday, but I would prefers leans a bit more night. Is this my first choice for formal event, no. Casual night maybe. This fragrance is just as boring, bland and generic as the "socially acceptable" people in the advert. Where are they, what are they doing, do they even know each other, there's zero chemistry there. Just a collection of what the photographer thought "Cool People" should look like. The photo has zero chemistry and the fragrance mirrors the magnificent shallowness of the advertisement. Fresh notes of Lavandin are combined with the warm richness of Virginia Cedarwood, woody Vetiver and aromatic Clary Sage for a uniquely seductive scent. Unfortunately the performance is terrible for me. I actually prefer more intimate scents but on my skin this projects a few feet for literally 30 minutes and then becomes a skin scent. After a few hours it disappears almost entirely, which is unacceptable for a parfum where you're supposed to gain longevity in exchange for the lower sillage. I'll be sure to post more later today or tomorrow, with my updated opinion after re-applying it at lunch and making it through the rest of the work day.
