And finally, Dior took Tendre Poison out of production, as it didn't sell that well and Cabotine still lives on, perhaps that says it all. Cabotine can change her faces, but it's still a fragrance for a woman who understands and appreciates perfumes. Thanks to its soft smell and the good sensations it conveys, this perfume has a high rate of acceptance among the female public, so it becomes a perfect gift idea.

You won’t really notice any difference between a product purchased from Perfume’s Club and a product purchased from a seller in our new Marketplace. In addition, as we give you the option to choose what best suits your needs from several sellers, you have the power to decide so you can make your purchase as you wish. All Grés perfumes have that typical French retro flair that is not admired by the masses, they are sophisticated fragrances for sophisticated women.

It is hard to find a summery perfume that feels elegant and grounded enough for me without going too far into dirt smells or rubber aquatic. Cabotine EDP smells like eighties and early nineties, yes, but it smells like young people back then, like oversized plastic jewelry and sequins, curled voluminous hairstyles, flowy fabrics, high-heeled sandals, overdone makeup. All of those notes, many of which I really like, but the end result is those little cups of grape jelly you get in a diner. Upon the initial spritz, I detect a surprising aldehydic and green tuberose blend, even though aldehydes aren't officially listed.

Maybe i can find something nice to layer it with, as it is it's waaay too old school nice girl/lady smelling for me. The composition is created around the ginger lily, also known as a butterfly lily, a Himalayan large-petalled white flower. Does not have any of the bombastic sweetness of Italian and American fragrances like Versace Blonde and her twisted American sister Design, both of which I also love. One day, when she is watering her porch garden of flowers, she realizes that no matter how spare the flowers petals become with the sun and winds, the smell is just as beautiful! The perfumes of the Grés house are different, they are not mainstream, they are not perfumes for a teenager or for a Kardashian type woman .

The EDP is much closer to my memory of Dior Tendre Poison, which I never owned but remember on other people and from testing. Note: The pros and cons listed on this page have been generated using the artificial intelligence system, which analyzes product reviews submitted by our members. There is something moderately sweeter about this one, but overall, it has brought back pleasant memories. I assume that the note bothering me here is something different, since I remember smelling it in the old version (1990s) also. Cabotine reminds me of something from my childhood, maybe a place or maybe someone nice wore it, which wouldn't be a suprise, since Cabotine originates from the 90s.

Tons of fragrances copied the berry plummy tuberose/carnation floriental style after Poison was released. With respect to Tendre Poison, I don’t think I can give a very detailed comparison because my only acquaintance with Dior’s discontinued scent is from a miniature I’ve recently bought, and I can’t say how well it’s preserved. I love how inexpensive it is, and you get a whiff every once in a while of Orange Blossom and amber.
