I don’t know whether it’s a good or bad thing, since it allows both issues to be developed but at the same time, sometimes the story felt like dragging (even though is not) and I feel like the romance could use a liiitle more easing up at the beginning.

The guy's running around all day—charming people, making it by with dog walking, running to his next engagement, and having a constant dialogue with himself in his head—and it's a lot.Considering his family’s lower economic status and the limited job opportunities for high schoolers, I understand his reasoning behind this method of circumventing his disadvantages. It’s a thread that is explored throughout the pages as Henri is pulled into a blackmail scheme that ends up being more than each of them bargained.
