Description

If you use your Lay-Z-Spa regularly, say 3 or more times per week, keeping your heater activated and set to the temperature you like is the most cost-effective way of running your hot tub and will save energy in the long run. Inflatable hot tubs are a great investment, given that they are relatively affordable and provide a full spa experience. From built-in massage jets to rapid heat-up systems, hot tubs are a great way to relax while reading a book or to enjoy with friends and family during a gathering. Can inflatable hot tubs be used in winter? Your Lay-Z-Spa doesn't come with chemicals, but it has a ChemConnect dispenser for sanitiser tablets, to remove the need for floating dispensers. You can find chlorine tablets and bromine tablets easily. To get all the chemicals you need to use your tub, go for a chemical starter kit.

It is not recommended that you use pre-2021 Lay-Z-Spa hot tubs when the temperature drops to 4°C. This does not stop you from doing so as long as you follow appropriate setting up, care and maintenance*. The time it takes for your Lay-Z-Spa to heat up depends on the temperature outside, how cold the water is, and the size of the tub. The higher the capacity of the water, the longer it takes to heat. You can expect the Hawaii to take 12 to 24 hours to heat cold water to 40°C. If your inflatable hot tub has a lid or cover on, this will speed up the process.

Hot tubs, chemicals & spares

The pump’s rapid heating system heats the water to a blissful 40°C. With our latest technology, you can heat the hot tub, run the massage system and filter the water simultaneously using just the pump. While some may shy away from using an inflatable hot tub during the winter, the majority of contemporary models are equipped with a heat maintenance system that keeps the water warm even during the colder months. So - as long as it's not raining - you can use your inflatable hot tub for most of the year. Are inflatable hot tubs expensive to run? Put simply, the easiest way to keep your hot tub healthy and clean is by being precise and fussy about the maintenance. A flippant approach almost always results in degradation and gross water. Are inflatable hot tubs worth it? The lazy spa Hawaii Airjet™ includes a relaxing and invigorating AirJet™ Massage System, made up of 140 all-surrounding air jets for complete relaxation. Just step in and drift away on a cloud of soothing bubbles.

Inflatable hot tubs can be expensive to run, but this all depends on how often you intend to use your tub and which model you opt for. For example, newer models have high-tech energy-saving systems which maintain the temperature for longer.
