Helene is the character I like in this series, because she’s the one who feels like she’s getting the most done – moving the plot forward with clear goals. It uses the villains especially well for these themes, adding a lot of needed depth to them, making them somewhat sympathetic even. This story is so dear to my heart, I put off starting this final chapter until I knew I could devote myself to the story. Although I do wish we didn’t have the prophecy of ‘they will all die’ because as soon as I read that I’m like ‘oh they will all live then’ and it is only annoying because you try to make me worry but no one ever goes through with ‘the death prophecy’.

Throughout the novel we continue to build towards the end and Elias was a big part in this because of his role, his skill and his power. haha, I know what you mean, sometimes you want to talk about the wrinkles you had even if you enjoyed the book. My original review for this was me just rambling about my feelings, and, let me tell you, four months later and I am STILL mad at this book . I find it so sad that people went off of Elias during Reaper because the whole point of it was that he kind of switched off his humanity so he could do his job as Soul Catcher, like don’t get me wrong I hateeeeed it with a passion, but it was pivotal to the story. There's a World of books to choose from such as: Children's Books, Range includes Baby Books (0-3), Books for Toddlers (3-5), Early Readers (5-7), Childrens Story books (7-11), Young Teens (11-14), Young Adults (14-16) and Childrens Educational Books. I noticed another recurring theme throughout the book--the overwhelming number of overused YA tropes that were sprinkled in.

It's one thing to encounter some losses towards the ending of a series, (and does wonders when used moderately) but the 'kill' dials were cranked to a maximum here. After all, if you don’t see a body, you can’t assume the character is dead, and we never saw Mirra’s body at the end of the last book. He has tried to break me but I will not be dictated to by a man so afraid to fight the jinn that he must criticise a woman to make himself feel bigger. yes, this is how to handle your crush worrying about you, very good) “My heart twinges a little at that, fool that it is.Alongside the brutality and despair of war, there was of course HOPE and I really liked how this point was written. It demanded I shut up and take the pain like a woman, like Helene, or Laia, or Afya, or Livvy, or Mamie Rila, or Mirra, or as any woman in this series would. And at the end of Sky, when we finally realize why Keris is the way she is, understanding is gifted to us, is instilled inside us. And, to be honest, everything was quite boring compared to the first two books (which made my whole being enlightened with the fierce love of the books!
