I have to say I’m firmly in the camp that the 3495 is a huge improvement over the previous modules. I wasn’t even interested in one of the Squares until I discovered Casio had upgraded the module. You’ll wake up every morning to a watch that is perfectly accurate to the second. Throw in the fact that is watch is solar-powered, meaning that the solar panels located around the dial provide energy to the rechargeable battery housed in the watch, and you have a perfect grab and go piece that will just never let you down. Ever.

Is it clear?– it should be easy to “get” the design and to read the time. Here, some watches with a crowded dial can still qualify if the design is perfect. Synthetic resin is the ideal material for wrist straps thanks to its extremely durable and flexible properties. Solar-charging watches are often misunderstood. They're sometimes erroneously claimed to not use batteries and/or to "last forever." They do use batteries, and will last longer than most quartz watches without solar charging — but like all things, they are made of physical materials that inevitably age and degrade.

The time can be set to the nearest minute and up to 24 hours in advance. Ideal for people who need to take medicines every day or those who do interval training. I actually love this case. I love the vintage vibe and shape it has. And surprisingly enough, it pairs with many outfits and styles without drawing too much attention. I really didn’t expect a square case to work that well from a style and fashion point of view. To make it simple, I consider being part of the inner dial everything that is part of the module itself (every indication of the LCD) whereas the outer dial is located between the module and the bezel.

Personally, I like this watch. It looks to be well made, and for myself it's comfortable to wear. If you are looking for a Casio classic style watch I would think this is a good choice. Though not all of the details are available, it includes three GW-M5610U models, one GW-5000U, one GW-S5600U, and one G-5600U.The daily alarm reminds you about recurring events with an acoustic signal at the time you have set. This model has 5 independent alarms for flexible reminders of important appointments. For the more down to earth, and more true to the original, resin models, the GW-M5610U with its new 3495 module is the first one to offer switchable DD/MM and MM/DD date notations. As a bonus, the DD day abbreviation can be set to six languages, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Russian. The former model only had English as an option. World-time And, of course, it is also possible to break one— though it typically requires concerted effort. Previous Update: The English manuals are now available for module 3495 (all models excluding G-5600UE) and module 3496 (G-5600UE). As for myself I normally use watches for time and date only. I rarely use the extra features in these watches as like the timers, and the alarms. I use my smart phone for those types of things.
