I'm going to go off tangent a little bit to say that Romantic Suspense is probably my least favorite sub-genre of romance because most of the time, it either has great suspense but weak romance or it has great romance but a weak suspense arc. It can be contemporary, futuristic or even occasionally more historical but you can always count on being entertained . Leaving her boyfriend and her past behind, Ester embarks on what is sure to be the greatest love story of her life . What I loved the most about this book was the premise of her being a photographer who bought a HUGE house, that had been unoccupied for years, and needed some loving care.

After reading several of her books have I come to the conclusion that I'm not the right person to read her books.

I kind of wish that Delilah killing her stepfather wasn't spoiled in the blurb though because man what a pleasant surprise that would've been. As the tension mounts, Delaware and Sturgis uncover a tangled history of desperation, vengeance, and death–a legacy of evil that refuses to die. This book is a forensic analysis of stalking and how it can completely dominate and derail an otherwise contented existence. I liked this book and would definitely check out more from this author but I'm not sure I'd revisit this book. With all of his delusions and obsessions towards Sophie and Dee, you can see how sick Logan is as he was written in such a way to convince us that he is the deranged one.

The subtly sinister cover of this book makes me squirm almost as much as the inisidious Charles Arrowby in the novel, who leaves his world of London theatre for a house by the sea. I've read, and loved, quite a few Nora Roberts' books in the past, and I'm sure I will in the future. Now, she's a photography living in a small town in the Pacific Northwest and she's renovating a house. I don't mind those every once in a while, but overall, I just had some issues that I don't want to spoil in case someone else might want to read this and see if they end up liking it or not.But he slowly started showing layers to himself and I ended up falling for him and loving him for our heroine.
