Description

Video Speed Class 60 (V60), sustained video capture rate of 60MB/s, designates a performance option designed to support real-time video recording with UHS enabled host devices. See www.sdcard.org/consumers/speed for additional details. UHS-II memory cards achieve their speed through an extra row of pins and while this SDXC card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-II / V60 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-II / V60. However, bear in mind that this card will then default to your device's speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-II and V30, which supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s, or UHS-I and U3, which also supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support U3, this SD card is compatible with the U1 and Class 10 standards, each of which guarantee minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s.

Approximations: Results and 4K UHD (3840x2160) and 6K (6144x3160) video support may vary based on host device, file attributes, and other factors. 1GB=1,000,000,000 bytes. 1TB=1,000,000,000,000 bytes. Actual user storage less. Full HD (1920x1080), 4K UHD (3840x2160), and 6K (6144x3160) video support may vary based upon host device, file attributes and other factors. Based on internal testing; performance will vary based on host device. Full performance requires SanDisk Professional PRO-READER Multi Card reader (sold separately). 1MB = 1,000,000 bytes.

See Western Digital White Paper- Flash 101 and Flash Management. A detailed overview of flash and flash management (August 2018): White Paper SD V60 Card – Up to 130MB/s Write Speed and 250 MB/s Read Speed | For Professional Vloggers, Filmmakers, Photographers & Content Curators –Update Firmware Included – By ProGrade Digital The Video Speed Class offers the fastest speeds available and is ideal for ultra-high-resolution videos, high-quality videos and multi-file recording in drones and 360-degree cameras. It supports HD formats up to 8K video in drones, 360-degree cameras, action cams and VR cameras. COUNTERFEITS ARE CRUMBLED: CUSTOM LASER-ETCHED SERIAL NUMBERS keep cheap counterfeiters at bay because our SD Cards are so difficult to mimic. Forged in our premium ProGrade Digital Lab, we meticulously inspect each SDXC Memory Card before it ships out and laser etch a custom code on each one. Finally, there’s the Video Speed Class. These are denoted by a V symbol, followed by a number representing the minimum write speed, in MB/s. The speed classes are V6, V10, V30, V60, and V90. For example, a V6 means the card has a minimum write speed of 6 MB/s. Cards can obviously be faster than that, but if you need to hit a minimum speed, this is a good symbol to look out for.

What is the SDXC card?

Achieve pro-level results with super high-resolution recording. A Video Speed Class 60 rating 6 ensures a minimum sustained write speed of 60MB/s which delivers cinema-quality 6K 1 video capture in standard recording modes. Capture brilliant 4K UHD 1 video in standard or slow motion and Full HD 1 in super slow motion to get the special effects you want. These UHS bus interfaces indicate the theoretical maximum read and write speeds, unlike the sustained write speeds of speed classes. The UHS bus interfaces are denoted by a Roman numeral “I” or “II” symbol on the front of the card. The bus speeds refer to the theoretical data transfer rate of the interface itself while a U3-rated SD card has its own sustained write speed of 30MB/s. For example, a UHS-I U3-rated card guarantees a write speed of 30MB/s but has the potential for a read and write speed of up to 104MB/s if used with a device that supports a UHS-I bus interface. years warranty in Germany, Canada and regions not recognizing lifetime warranty. See www.sandisk.com/wug The UHS Speed Class is more commonly used nowadays than the Speed Class and many high-end cameras require at least a U3-rated memory card for many of its functions, such as recording high-resolution videos. The UHS Speed Class mainly refers to the minimum sustained write performance for recording videos and came about due to 4K-capable video recording devices needing faster write speeds. As a rule of thumb, 4K-capable recording cameras will usually require at least a U3-rated SD card.

[128GB-1TB]: Based on 38.3GB transfer of photos (avg. file 38.3MB) and 83.87GB transfer of videos (avg. file 1397.94MB) with SanDisk Professional PRO-READER Multi Card reader. Write speed slower. Results may vary based on host device, file attributes and other factors. Both U1 and U3 memory cards can utilise the UHS-I bus interface, but are not compatible with the UHS-II bus interface. You can find the best card for your hardware device by choosing the same speed class or higher than the one required for your device. For example, if your device requires a Class 4 memory card, you can use Speed Class 4, 6 or 10. If your device requires a UHS Speed Class 1 card, you can use UHS Speed Class 1 or 3. The same functionality applies to the Video Speed Class as well. Note, using a higher-rated card that goes beyond the speed class requirement for a device will still work, but you won’t be experiencing the full benefits of the higher speed class since the device only supports the lower speed class. HIGH-SPEED SD CARDS FOR DIGITAL CAMERAS – INSTANTLY SAVE high resolution recordings to your device, ALL WHILE maintaining super sharp focus. STOP waiting around for your images/recordings to upload, with our Read Speed of 250 MB/s even your most robust work can be uploaded in seconds!Spend less time offloading your photo and video files with transfer speeds up to 280MB/s 9. Pair with PRO-READER Multi Card reader from SanDisk Professional to enable the fastest speeds and high sustained performance ( sold separately). The Video Speed Class is unique because it’s capable of utilising both the UHS-I and UHS-II bus interfaces. V6 to V90 speed class memory cards can use the UHS-II bus interface, but the UHS-I bus interface can only support V6 to V30 speed class memory cards. What makes the U1 and U3 memory cards more advanced than those in the Speed Class are that they use one of two UHS bus interfaces:
