Overall, this was a good fast read that had the heat and the heart break (the letters were tear inducing). His actions have driven the love of his life to flee from him and seek solace at her brother's farm in Texas.Though she wants to be with him, and knows he regrets letting her go, she doesn't know if she can trust him. The story line is amazing and her facts about how it feels to live with a heart defect is spot on, that is exactly how I felt. She was always shy and reserved, but she had a fierceness and determination that I was really drawn too. I still don’t completely get why people dislike Nan and why the other characters treat her the way they do, but what she did for Harlow did was really nice.

Seeing Grant’s character handle his fears and acknowledge his bad decisions to win Harlow was moving to read, breaking down and seeing his passionate side come out to get his woman back confirmed who owned his heart. I get Kiro is trying to understand why she’s not getting an abortion, but that, combined with Harlow’s earlier thoughts of her grandma made me think that her grandma was religious and didn’t believe in abortions. But book after book, Ms Glines keeps delivering such distinctive love stories, her trademark style recognisable from a mile, but each time injecting something new, something unexpected, something utterly addictive into these stories to keep us glued to our chairs and totally oblivious to the world around us. The group in rosemary Beach have such a strong bond, and when they lost Jase (Which has not been forgiven yet either!But a broken heart is not all that Harlow is suddenly faced with, her passionate but short-lived affair with Grant having opened the one door she never even hoped of peeking through. Going into this book two I was excited to see how this playboy/Nan’s bitch planned on redeeming himself. Plus, it’s something that she can pass on to her child, so I am having a hard time understanding why she’d want to keep this baby.
