Like what some sort of mechanical race would consider a blend of lavender, bergamot and flavored tobacco. Owning "Signature" and "One Man Show" already, i thought it would be another vintage smell fragrance. Very manly and very intense, limiting its versatility; It is acceptable for daily use, office, and a night out.

I really like how LEATHER and LEMON in BLOSSOM along with JUNIPER-BERRYES with CLOVES besides, get along. It is a magnificent example where a balanced blend of a handful of notes creates an entirely new and unified olfactory impression. The beginning is a pretty sharp bergamot rush that fades behind a warm curtain of tonka and lavender and a dash of florals humming in the background.

very old school as it dries down i get a sharper and fresher quorum i much prefer it to quorum because of the sharpness it dosent really feel dated or "aftershavey" it just smells clean on top of that leather /oakmoss quorum type base . If you want to kick up the Bogart to all day you must keep an extra bottle handy, as in your glove compartment or otherwise somewhere close by so you can reapply and keep the spirit alive. It's a bit simpler and louder than Rochas Man, but they're definitely relatives, with similar uses of lavender. Bogart is not brash like a lot of aromatic fougeres from its era, and I consider it to be mainly a leather fragrance. For me, fragrance trends change and "granddad juice" is not the mood I want to set on date night or in the office.

If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. The only note not crazy about is the nutmeg but it is understated and doesn't jump out of the blend. It is useful on the same occasions as Dior Homme, Givenchy Gentleman 1974 and Gentleman edt, A*Men, etc. Bogart is stronger, denser, and more mature-smelling than Shock, which is a bit muskier and more fleeting, more candied, more whimsical. Very nice fragrance it doesn't draw compliments but I don't seem to get them with any of my colonges so that doesn't seem to matter and some are high end but I like it and so does my wife that's what counts.Puts me firstly in an outdoorsy mood and then the soapy herby drydown emirates a calmness that's sublime. The base is my favorite part, as it takes on more of a dark cherry/black cherry theme, with a little vanilla and some spice.

I found it somewhat harsh when I first bought it, but after a few years of sitting on my shelf, Bogart Pour Homme has become much smoother and more enjoyable to wear. Top notes are Lavender and Bergamot; middle notes are Orange Blossom, Rose and Lily-of-the-Valley; base notes are Tonka Bean, Patchouli, Cedar, Musk and Oakmoss. It sits heavy on the skin and has very good sillage for awhile then lingers awhile longer on clothes. Offering a fresh scent that is almost universally appealing, this Jacques Bogart men’s fragrance is a great choice for both everyday use and as a gift for special occasions.Smells great, ultra performer, not offensive, but totally granddad juice that's likeable but really outdated, so this won't get a second purchase from me. This smells a little retro but maintains its relevance by being well blended and offering great performance. If this is an unofficial Rochas Man sequel--Rochas Man Extreme, if you will--it also serves as a Mugler Pure Havane prototype.

Performance is relatively tame considering the house which released it, but it's still a strong fragrance. The sweet, unburnt cherry tobacco pipe puffing away over manly coumarin vanilla-tonka combo and dry cedarwood are more substantial.Bogart opens with a fresher, brighter citrus note than Paco, and as it progresses, the middle and base notes emerge more smoothly. I have worn it a few times and was trying to figure out if I liked it when my wife very pointedly asked me what perfume I was wearing. There are designer scents that have not much circulation in the populace and are so hot it is ridiculous. In terms of aroma, it has a very aggressive output, but after 20 minutes, it softens and is wonderful. I have really come to appreciate this fragrance, wore it every day for a week, from rather naja to great!
