The entry states that only Dr. Eggman, Amy and Maria's menu themes for Sonic Adventure 2 were released in Japan. While this claim is correct in both Amy and Maria's cases, Eggman's theme was also released in western territories. Shadow, Omochao, and the Secretary's themes (which were Japanese-exclusive) are not mentioned. The section mistakenly says " Players sit insidean arcade cabinet shaped like Sonic's patrol car". It is supposed to say " Players sit inside an arcade cabinet shaped like Sonic's patrol car". The entry states that Sir Lancelot comments on the similarity of the Red Dragon with the Biolizard. This is wrong, as Sonic is the one who comments on the resemblance with him recalling the events of Sonic Adventure 2, and illogical as Lancelot has no in-universe reason to know the Biolizard.

The description for Final Egg erroneously states Birdie's family members to be his parents, rather than his siblings. A series of children's picture books were published by Golden Books, featuring the art of Art Mawhinney. Titles include Up Against a Wall, The Secret Admirer and Sonic's Shoes Blues. By 1994, the series had sold 550,000 copies, including 250,000 copies of Sonic's Shoes Blues and 300,000 copies of Sonic's Secret Admirer. [3]

The Robo Kukku is erroneously stated to be found in Battle Fortress 1. In truth, they are exclusive to Battle Fortress 2. Book 4 – Sonic the Hedgehog in Castle Robotnik 1994 (by Sargent) – Robotnik creates a robotic duplicate of Sonic and situates himself in a classic horror movie villain castle, protected by likewise common horror movie creatures. In the descriptions for Soniclash! and Tails' Fly & Get, it is stated that four Game Paks are needed to play them. In truth, they only need one Game Pak. The book states " You'll need to either navigate a maze and battle Fang before the time runs out or collect eighty Rings with the Tornado within a strict time limit." In the actual game, however, the player battles Fang after completing either variation of the Special Stage, not only the maze one.

In the " Team Rose" section, despite Chao being genderless, Chocola is referred to as Cheese's brother. This is consistent with the game, though.
