Ramadan Radio Wolves will broadcast from its studio in Wolverhampton as the city's Muslim community begins preparations for the holy month. As an author, Chantel Hall Reid is highlighted as one of our ideal clients for her conscientious approach to developing her fiction book. Yusuf Shafi, operations manager, said: "Radio Ramadan Wolves is a community initiative to empower local people in Wolverhampton to explore, express and celebrate their diversity, to create awareness of and understanding between communities, working towards greater cohesion. The three new categories that we have added to this year’s awards are particularly close to our hearts, as they allow us to give heartfelt thanks to the people that have helped us make it through the pandemic. One of MBCC’s missions has always been to focus on the people who make a real difference within their communities; so I hope that the introduction of these categories will aid us in celebrating these inspiring individuals”. After receiving hundreds of applications for the categories, the public has chosen its finalists; among these are the 14 champions who will be crowned at a star-studded event in November, celebrating those who have gone above and beyond in the corporate world and local communities.

The radio will bring a line-up that promises interesting perspectives on the themes and informative discussions that will cover religious services live from mosques, and special fast breaking shows. In January 2022 Chantel was appointed as my Executive Assistant which meant that she carried half of my workload. With Chantel on board I was enabled to work on the vision of the business and also to look after my health. A tireless live performer, the only frustration has to be the long gaps between studio albums. Whilst other contemporaries may be more prolific in this respect, it could be argued that – with Chantel – it is always a case of quality over quantity. We can’t wait!
