It’s pretty clear that Joop! are one of the best and most recognised brands when it comes to buying products in the Aftershave category, but are they the best? Whether you choose to buy Joop! Homme Absolute Eau de Parfum Spray or not will depend largely on how good the brand is, so it’s important to understand and be confident that you’re happy with a brand before you get into the detail of one of their products. I managed 7+ hours of longevity with good sillage and projection for most of that time. Performs even better in really cold weather. Could still smell this beauty on my clothes the next morning. Overall impression that Joop Homme Absolute leaves on me is being dark and negative. Encre Noire is much better, more original, refined and more acceptable. The sample I tried lasted 4+ hours with moderate-to-fair sillage/projection before fading into a skin-scent. This performance is more than acceptable, considering the price.
